This is a release introducing significant updates across the Municipio Theme and its core packages. Key improvements include enhanced image focus detection, improved accessibility, expanded schema handling, and better template logic.

Municipio Theme [5.177.1…6.0.3]

  • Image Focus: Now only calculates focus when a file is manually uploaded, improving accuracy and performance.
  • Accessibility: Enables logged-out users to view accessibility pages.
  • Exhibition View: Renders HTML in exhibition descriptions for richer content display.
  • Schema Handling: Improved handling of PropertyValue terms in taxonomy, allowing for more accurate data extraction.
  • Customizer: All alignment and color options now use Municipio translations for consistency.
  • Template Logic: Access restriction logic now bypasses generic static endpoints, improving flexibility.
  • Build Process: Updated build scripts to support Modularity and Component Library integration.
  • Styleguide: Updated to latest version for improved UI consistency.
  • Integration: Modularity is now a direct dependency and integrated into Municipio.

Modularity Modules

  • Modules: Numerous updates across modules (Audio, Breadcrumbs, Contacts, Curator, Divider, FilesList, Gallery, Hero, Iframe, Image, Index, InlayList, InteractiveMap, Logogrid, ManualInput, Map, Markdown, Menu, etc.). Adjustments to hook order and priority, to be compatible with the merge of Modularity into Municipio Theme.

  • Button Component: Corrects email link sanitization for safer output.
